Supporting Police and the Coast Guard

Our team at Mid West have years of experience in search and rescue operations whether it be on the coast or around the mountain region. Local knowledge is an important aspect of SAR operations which stems back thirty years for some of our pilots, coupled with our Satloc GPS we are able to do exceptional grid searching.

We also operate the most modern Spidertracks tracking systems that allows police to monitor our aircraft from their offices or on location. Our radios are all programmed with D.O.C, Coast Guard along with NZDF and others.

The AS350 out of Wanganui, as all know is a very stable platform with additional power and the ability to move five passengers rapidly along with dogs. This aircraft has police radio capabilities to talk directly to the ground or office.
